Participate in the XGEN Family Activity Study!

You and your family are invited to be part of a research project about the experiences of veterans, first responders (including veterans), their partners or carers of their children and of the children themselves, of being active together. We are inviting veterans’ and first responders’ families that are connected with Pro Patria Centre and network organisations to take part.

If you choose to participate, the researchers from Charles Sturt University will arrange a time for you and/or your family to participate in a family unit interview or individual interview about your experiences of being active together. Any information you give will be kept private and confidential.

You can read more about the research in thec Participant Information Statements linked on this page

Please note, currently serving members of the Australian Defence Force are not permitted to take part.

If you would like to be part of this research or have further questions, please contact Kate Freire from Charles Sturt University by email kfreire@csu.edu.au or by phone 02 6051 9361.

Interviews will take place on Saturday 22 and 29 November at Pro Patria Centre, Wagga by appointment. If you would like to take part but can’t attend on those dates or face-to-face in Wagga please contact us to arrange an alternative appointment.
